Privacy Policy

Effective date: 21 August 2026
Last updated: 21 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ronixtheme.com (“Ronixtheme.com,” “we,” “us,” or “the Site”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit the Site, submit a form, post a comment where comments are enabled, or interact with third-party services displayed on the Site.

Ronixtheme.com is an independently operated editorial website based in Nepal. It publishes information about Ronix, Xiaomi themes, MIUI, HyperOS, and related customization topics.

Information You Provide Voluntarily

We may receive information that you choose to provide, including:

  • Name and email address submitted through a contact or comment form;
  • Message, subject, and selected contact category;
  • Article URL, device model, region, or software version included in a support or correction report;
  • Copyright, privacy, advertising, or business-enquiry details;
  • Any attachments or screenshots you choose to send.

Please hide account identifiers and private information in screenshots. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment-card information, government identification, recovery codes, or sensitive account credentials.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting, security, analytics, or advertising providers may automatically process technical information such as:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address;
  • Browser and device type;
  • Operating system and approximate region;
  • Referring and visited URLs;
  • Date, time, and duration of visits;
  • Cookie or similar identifier;
  • Error, security, fraud-prevention, and performance data;
  • General interaction data, such as page views and link clicks.

We do not use this technical information to identify a visitor personally unless necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or a request initiated by that visitor.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • Respond to contact, privacy, copyright, accessibility, and correction requests;
  • Moderate comments and prevent spam or abuse;
  • Diagnose broken links and compatibility reports;
  • Measure aggregate readership and content performance;
  • Display, limit, and measure advertising where advertising is enabled;
  • Maintain records needed to resolve disputes or comply with law;
  • Protect the Site, readers, rights holders, and service providers.

Legal Bases Where Applicable

Depending on your location and the activity involved, processing may rely on your consent, performance of a requested service, our legitimate interest in operating and securing an informational website, compliance with a legal obligation, or the establishment and defence of legal claims.

You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the legal basis. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

Comments

If comments are enabled and you submit one, the Site may collect the data shown in the form, your IP address, and browser information to support spam detection and moderation. Approved comments, names, and profile images supplied through a connected avatar service may be publicly visible.

Do not publish private information in a comment. You can request removal through the Contact page, subject to identity, recordkeeping, and legal requirements.

Contact Forms

Information submitted through a contact form is used to review and respond to the selected request. We may retain a message and related correspondence to prevent abuse, document corrections, handle copyright or privacy requests, and maintain an appropriate record of decisions.

Submitting a form does not subscribe you to marketing unless a separate, optional consent box clearly says so.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site and its providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, IP addresses, or similar technologies for essential operation, security, preferences, analytics, and advertising. See the cookie controls described below.

Analytics

When analytics is enabled, services such as Google Analytics may process cookie identifiers, approximate location, device information, and interactions to provide aggregated usage reports. We use these reports to understand which pages are useful, diagnose performance, and improve navigation.

Google describes how it uses information from partner sites at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Advertising and Google AdSense

The Site may display advertising, including Google AdSense, when enabled. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies as a result of ad serving.

Google and its advertising partners may use advertising cookies to serve, limit, personalize, and measure ads based on visits to this and other websites, subject to consent and account settings. Visitors can learn about and control Google ad personalization through My Ad Center and review Google’s advertising technologies.

Other authorized advertising vendors may use their own technologies under their privacy policies. Where required, the consent interface identifies the available vendors and purposes.

Consent for Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

When advertising or other consent-dependent services are enabled, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland should be shown a Google-certified consent management platform where required. The interface provides information about vendors and purposes and allows the visitor to manage consent choices.

Changing a browser setting or reading this policy is not treated as a substitute for consent where the law requires an affirmative choice.

Embedded Content and External Links

Pages may include embedded images, videos, social posts, or links to Xiaomi, theme designers, and other websites. Those services may collect data, use cookies, or track interaction as if you visited their sites directly.

Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies. An external link does not give us control over the destination’s security or data practices.

Service Providers and Sharing

We may share or permit processing of information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Website hosting, caching, backup, security, and spam-prevention providers;
  • Analytics and performance providers when enabled;
  • Advertising and consent-management providers when enabled;
  • Form, email-delivery, and comment providers;
  • Professional advisers where necessary;
  • Authorities or parties when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety;
  • A successor in a legitimate merger, reorganization, or transfer of the Site, subject to appropriate notice and protection.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising-related sharing may be treated as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some regional laws; applicable consent or opt-out choices will be provided where required.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Typical working periods are:

  • Ordinary contact enquiries: up to 24 months after resolution;
  • Published comments: while the comment remains relevant, unless removal is appropriate;
  • Privacy, copyright, payment, and legal correspondence: up to seven years where recordkeeping is reasonably necessary;
  • Security and server logs: according to hosting and security settings, typically for a limited operational period;
  • Analytics and advertising data: according to the configured provider settings and the provider’s policy.

We may retain a minimal record longer when necessary to document an opt-out, prevent repeated abuse, or comply with law.

International Processing

Service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, providers and the Site rely on recognized safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to personal information held about you;
  • Ask for inaccurate information to be corrected;
  • Request deletion, subject to lawful exceptions;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent for future processing;
  • Request a portable copy where applicable;
  • Opt out of certain advertising uses or data sharing;
  • Complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.

Submit a request through the Contact page and select Privacy request. We may ask for limited information needed to verify that the request concerns you. Authorized agents may be required to show authority.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from them. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission, plugin, form, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when services, legal obligations, or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an additional notice.
